Some friends and I are gonna "run"(more like hike with some jogging) R2R2R at the Grand Canyon in a couple weeks. Today we decided to run from the Terrace Hills trailhead to the top of Black Mountain and back twice. It was more like fast hiking with some jogging in the middle, but was still a pretty good workout overall....and the views are spectacular! Counting the miles easy running miles due to avg HR being 130.
